yes, a picture of half eaten burger and fries. my hunger outweighed the thoughts to take a beautiful food shot. i wont apologize. trendy, witty name burger bars are everywhere; the habit, murder burger, burgerfi... hopdoddy falls right in line with those, but their eclectic burger menu, atmosphere and beer selection really hit home as a win. i went with the goodnight/good cause burger. $1 of the sale is donated to the preservation of the bollona wetlands just a couple blocks away. the burger was a healthy prime angus patty topped with tillamook cheddar, caramelized onions, jalapenos, bbq sauce, red lettuce, tomato and the house sassy sauce. a very large, regular sized order of fries accompanied the sandwich. a perfect amount of food, with phenominal taste for any appetite.

playa vista is a great area to visit. the area is new construction, set up cityview style with apartments/condos up top with shops and eaterys at street level. many tech companies have moved offices into the area making it a who‘s who in the tech world. google is currently revitalizing and repurposing the hangar on the eastern corner of the neighborhood that housed the spruce goose. all this great fun to be had and also only 5 minutes from the ocean and dockweiler beach.
