burgerfi; town center plaza, leawood ks

you know good food when it hits your senses. taste, smell, the amount of grease running down your hand. good is good. burgerfi takes it one step further with awesome. i can't say enough good things about the experience. the food, the selection, beer options, consistency, location and open concept vibe.

first thing i love is the fact a cheeseburger is made with 2 pattys. yes. second thing is the cry + fry or fry/ring combo.

burger... two pattys, lettuce, pickle onion and dual cheese slice. bun is stamped with branding approval. this burger is not hard to eat even though it looks like a double meal. meat cooked to perfection and copious amounts of cheese blasting out the sides is A+. you can also get a burger with an egg, a beyond meat plant based burger, a quinoa vegi burger or load up the cannons for a double waygu and brisket blend burger named the ceo. they even have new york and texas style hotdogs.

cry + fry... fry/ring combo. one ring, a lot of fries. mine had the optional white cheddar cheese added. this is the only rub i have ever had with the food. i will not add the cheese to fries again here. it is an added miss. cheese is bland and not very liquid, more like a ricotta. meh.

burgerfi also serves shakes, concretes, custard floats and local beers on tap/cans/bottles.

this joint is a cant miss. great amount of food for the cost. the location is great as well, just inside the north annex of town center; near the skating rink. sit inside at a family style high top and enjoy the open air moving throughout.
