tobe hooper's great horror from 1982, poltergeist is an all time classic. whether you know it for carol anne, the quotes (they're here), the tree that comes alive to try and poach her brother from his bed, or the corpse pool this flick has staying power.
just south of tapo canyon and nearly the last street at the base of the mountain holds 4267 roxbury; the house from poltergeist. aside from garage doors and a new roof the house still has the quaint feel from the movie. i enjoy seeing these movie landmarks still in their glory and hunting for the areas to see what the scenery really looks like without cgi and other movie makeup. this house holds up very well.
You can't choose between life and death when we're dealing with what is in between.
